This past Fall Demo Days had to be one of my favorite Demos to date. As ACK’s Marketing Event Manager, the four Demo Days in Austin, San Marcos, Mississippi City and Conroe, Texas are some of the largest events of my year.
One of the best parts of the ACK Demo Days is our clinic selection, taught by some of the most knowledgeable and passionate people in the industry. So this year, before heading out to the Demo Days, head to ACK.
If you’ve been on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter these past few days you’ve probably seen hundreds of new product posts hyping the latest and greatest from this years ICAST convention in Orlando, Florida. Brands such as Hobie, Diablo Paddle sports, and Native all showed off new gear we can’t wait to get our hands on.
Austin Canoe & Kayak (ACK) is excited to announce their annual Fall Demo Day events featuring over 90 kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards as well as educational clinics from industry experts. Austin, Texas (August 18, 2015) – Outdoor retailer, Austin Canoe and Kayak (ACK), a division of MSP Holdings, LLC, announces its annual Fall Kayak and Stand Up Paddleboard Demo Days & Outdoor Expo.
Today walking through the endless lineup of tents and new products at the On the Water Demo at ICAST 2015 I was immediately drawn to the brand new Pink Engel Dry Box Cooler under the familiar blue Engel tent. The pink Engel Dry Box Cooler still boasts the original cooler’s best features including stainless steel screws, carry handles, and an air-tight “O” ring seal to keep your goods air and water tight.
We are proud to announce our sponsorship of the 8th Annual Casting for a Cause Fishing Tournament in Port Aransas, Texas. Casting for a Cause is one of the fastest growing, non-profit fishing tournaments in the Coastal Bend accumulating over 2,500 anglers over the past 7 years and an expected 600 participants this year alone.
The Austin Canoe & Kayak (ACK) Demo Days are ACK’s pride and joy. Since 2005, the Demo Days have been a favorite bi-annual tradition where vendors, customers and employees alike get together and get on the water.
What do you see when you find a small, locally owned kayak shop in Austin, Texas? Steve and Peter Messana, owners of Austin Canoe & Kayak (ACK), saw potential. They took a tiny specialty paddling shop and developed it into the booming business it is today. Starting with the flagship store in Austin, TX and then growing across Central Texas, ACK has developed into one of Texas’s largest kayak fishing and outdoor retailer while maintaining its mom-and-pop shop feel in each of its brick and mortar locations.
The minute I set my eyes on a Kammok Roo I knew I had to own one. Not only is it attractive, local to Austin, and tear resistant but with the purchase of every Roo, Dragonfly, or Glider, Kammok is able to provide life-saving treatment to 5 children diagnosed with malaria in Africa.
